SLP North America Inc. carries forward the legacy of Swedish Lorry Parts AB, a company born from deep technical expertise, relentless precision, and a vision to serve heavy-duty vehicle owners worldwide — with a level of quality that rivals the original.
Founded in 1991 in Sweden, SLP was created to meet the growing need for reliable aftermarket spare parts for Volvo and Scania vehicles and engines. Where many providers focused on volume, SLP focused on precision, consistency, and long-term performance.
From the start, SLP was guided by engineers and technicians with decades of experience working directly with OEM systems. This foundation in mechanical and material engineering set the stage for something unique: an independent supplier of spare parts that didn’t compromise on quality.
By developing our own technical drawings, production tools, and quality controls, SLP earned a reputation not just as an alternative — but as the preferred choice for many fleet operators and repair professionals around the world.
In the years that followed, SLP expanded across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and South America — with a distributor network spanning over 90 countries.
As the product catalog grew to include over 17,000 parts (with hundreds added annually), SLP built its own testing, packaging, and logistics facilities in Sweden to ensure every part met its exacting standards.
